The contracting authority, whose main activity is to conduct research and development in the physical sciences, is the recipient of the grant for the project "ELI: Extreme Light Infrastructure" implemented under the Operational Programme Research and Development for Innovation (hereinafter the "Project").
For the implementation of the project the purchase of the adaptive optics loops for the control of the wavefront of laser beams is needed. - it is necessary to be well prepared and to take maximum advantage of the ELI-beamlines project ranking.
The subject matter of the Public Contract is the supply of adaptive optics loops made of deformable mirrors, wavefront sensors and software to drive them together. These adaptive optics loops are dedicated to the medium size laser beamlines named L3 and L4sa. Due to this, the aperture size of the deformable mirror is set to 250mm x 250mm.
a) Description of needs of IOP that will be satisfied by fulfilment of public contract

b) Short description of subject-matter of public contract
The contract is the supply of adaptive optics loops made of deformable mirrors, wavefront sensors and software to drive them together. These adaptive optics loops are dedicated to the medium size laser beamlines named L3 and L4sa. Due to this, the aperture size of the deformable mirror is set to 250mm x 250mm.

c) Description of mutual relation between subject-matter of public contract and needs of IOP
Acquisition of adaptive optics loops for beam transport is a key element for delivery the maximum of the energy of the laser beams for the experiments.
