The Institute of Physics (IoP) - whose main activity is to conduct research and development in the physical sciences field - is the recipient of a grant for the project "ELI: Extreme Light Infrastructure" which is implemented under the Operational Program for Innovation Research and Development (hereinafter the "Project"). The project is to build a laser research center and its laser technologies infrastructures. The objectives of the project and the binding technical descriptions of the project are further defined, and are annexed to the grant decision.
The purpose of the contract is the purchase of study, design, delivery of SW and HW components, installation, and testing of PERSONAL SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM.
The Contracting Authority is planning to award this tender in the form of negotiation procedure without publication pursuant to Sec. 23 (5) (a) of the Act No. 137/2006 Coll., on Public Contracts, as amended. a) Description of needs of IOP that will be satisfied by fulfilment of public contract

c) Description of mutual relation between subject-matter of public contract and needs of IOP
The requested device are necessary for the realization of the ELI-Beamlines project.
d) Anticipated date of fulfillment of public contract
